The modder has stated that he will not release the mod until it is working as intended, meaning that this mod may never release to the public. The mod also has several other issues like objects disappearing when too close to the camera and visible shuttering on Geralt's body when the game is running at below 60FPS. Right now the first person camera is attached directly to the head of Geralt, making camera movement jerky and very hard to use. Right now this mod is a work in progress, but skacikpl has already released several videos showcasing the game from a first person perspective, including in-game combat. Controlling geralt that way in vr is way more accurate then via the first person mod but to see certain places in the game in vr from first person is worth it.
